I am a registered veterinarian and member of the NZVA.

I have a PhD in biochemistry and have worked in pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years.

I worked in veterinary contract research for over 10 years.

I am experienced in managing studies from outline to final report and everything in between including budgets, protocol writing, animal ethics, subcontractors and quality assurance.

I have over two decades of experience running animal studies in a diverse range of species from cows and sheep to cats and dogs to laboratory animals.

In addition I’m experienced in human and veterinary pharmaceutical drug development, GLP and GCP quality systems, veterinary anaesthesia and biochemistry.

I’m excellent at leading teams of people, both face to face, and virtually to achieve research goals.

I’m experienced in HR and business management.

I have experience managing subcontractors on research studies and ensuring they meet study objectives.
